We will be using a combination of simulated robots and real robots (using pre-recorded sensor data) to hone your robotics skills. Whether you want to work with self-driving cars, drones, or manipulators, this course will prepare you for that journey.

Requirements:

  • Basic Linux
  • Comfortable with Python
  • Some math and linear algebra

About the teacher: I am a PhD in Computer Science turned Robotics Engineer. I have 10+ years experience with AI and over 3 years experience in Robotics. I have built real robots from scratch, my research and experience focuses on state estimation and localization for robotics. I am currently working with maritime robots.

This is a live class with a maximum of 5 students. The class will begin in June as soon as the minimum of 3 students have joined. The classes will start either at 20:00 or 21:30 CST (UTC+8) and will last for 1.5 hours. There will be 2 sessions per week for 2 weeks for a total of 4 sessions. The classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Before you sign up please be sure to be available at the times/dates mentioned previously.
